A new crisis has emerged in Ukraine, and UNIMA has received many queries in the past week. Our Commissions have assembled for extraordinary meetings to decide on a united response to this alarming tragedy and the assistance we can provide its victims.

UNIMA continues to provide aid for puppeteers and UNIMA members afflicted by economic problems, the COVID pandemic, and other socio-political issues. Our GoFundMe donation portal, “Emergency Aid for Puppeteers”, continues to accept donations, while a new Give. Asia portal entitled “Free of Strings” has been created for donations to relieve artists caught in the Ukrainian crisis.

As always, you may make a donation via PayPal or a direct bank transfer to our bank account. Write to us at web@unima.org with a screen capture of your donation and let us know the campaign your donation is intended for.

Members may apply for financial aid in the online form below, while UNIMA volunteers for the Ukrainian crisis continue to check in on puppeteers affected by the conflict. More details will follow, as UNIMA International develops its response and plans for the months and years ahead.
